  • Map
    • “Muela Marojales”
    • Extension: 5.6 km2
  • Cartographer
    • Juan Francisco Sánchez.
    • Fieldwork: July / September 2019.
      • Located between 1,350-1,520 m. of altitude. Pine woods and mostly of “Pino Negro” and “Piñonero”. Regarding the low vegetation we can find the “boxwood” as a bush, using the symbol 407-409 (green striped) to represent it. Vegetation in general allows good runability. Most of the mapped area is located on the plateaus which there are 2 differentiated areas. In the west, we can find a steepness of the mountains; in the east we can find all kind of rocky elements with a moderate slope. This one is substantially more technical.

      • This map offers many potential possibilities for Medium and Long distance run.

E-5 Nacimiento del Guadiela (Cueva del Hierro) Middle distance

    • Juan Francisco Sánchez (julio de 2019)
      • Located between 1,450-1,620 m. of altitude. This pine forest is mostly of Black Pine (Pinus Nigra), it is a forest that allows a high runability, we find two different areas: the west with moderate relief and less detail of rock and the east area that stands out by appearing a grist of karstic relief with hundreds of formations such as mounds, rocks, cut and hills of all kinds, the relief being softer than the west. All these components create a spectacular scenario for this sport; including it within my “Orienteering Paradise”.
